Dr. Idol was born in Beleville,IL, and moved to Maryland in 1968.
He grew up in Calvert County and after graduating from Northern High School, he went on to college and graduated from University of Maryland with a BS in Biochemistry, in 1983. He attended the Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 1987. He completed his Surgical Residency at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV in 1988. Dr. Idol joined Family Foot Care of Southern Maryland in 1988. He has 5 offices in southern Maryland, and he is also on Active staff at Calvert Health Medical Center and Active Staff at Calvert Ambulatory Foot Surgery Center. He is a consultant and speaks to groups and organizations in Southern Maryland.

Dr. Zavada was born was born in Connecticut and moved to Maryland when she was young.
She grew up in Anne Arundel County and after graduating from Archbishop Spalding High School; she took a job as medical assistant in podiatry office and found her love for podiatry. She then went on to attend the Barry University College of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida and graduated in 2011 followed by competing her Surgical Residency at St. Michael's Hospital in Newark, NJ.
